The listings come from the companies, so the stale and fake stuff that clogs LinkedIn mostly isn't here, and a good share of postings name the founder or recruiter behind them. That's who I write to.

The take
Wellfound is the old AngelList job board, and it still works the way AngelList did: the company posts the role itself, with the salary range and the equity next to it. In my own search that has meant far fewer ghosts than the big boards, because nobody is scraping and reposting listings that closed months ago.
The part that earns it a spot here is the name on the posting. A lot of roles show the founder or the recruiter who owns it. That turns an application into a short note to a person, which is the whole point of this site.
